Sunday, Sept. 13: Create a collage or inspiration/mood board for this season in your life.

For the past five years, basically, I’ve felt like I’ve been in a place of transition. And the season I’m currently in definitely feels that way as well. But it’s different, too. I feel like I’ve learned a lot about myself and about how to take care of myself well in order to take care of others well. I’m discovering my passions and strengths and that feels good.

Being young and married really is an adventure as cliche as that sounds. So many unexpected things have come up and we’ve had to adjust and learn how to handle them as they come. I’m learning just how true it is that “nothing will make you feel better except doing the work.” I’ve also been learning that letting things go is healthy and necessary. I’m still figuring this adult thing out, but I’m getting there.

Most exciting about this season of life I’m in is celebrating precious new babies in our families! Both our sisters being pregnant at the same time is just too fun. I am so excited to plan and help host a shower for my sister to celebrate her first baby! Plus, newborns help quell the baby fever ;).

Life is far from perfect, but we’re getting there & it’s fantastic.
