A few things on my list all fall into the organization category, not surprisingly. I keep finding myself digging around the bottom of my purse, so a pretty leather pouch sounds perfect. It’s a similar story with my knitting needles (and now crochet hooks!) – they are all in about four locations – and this is by far the loveliest case I’ve found. And I can’t really ever get enough of Project Life organizing systems. This one is amazing because the slots are customizable and it sits out so everything is visible, and therefore usable.
Lastly, with all the baby shower prepping I’ve been doing mamahood is on the brain, and that sweet mama bear necklace is simply gorgeous.
P.S. Fun news! I’m starting a new job today! After a few days of delay it’s finally my first official day. This is also a big part of why my posting has been a little more sporadic than ought to have been. I’m a bit nervous but mostly excited. I’m still processing and deciding what this means for this space, but I intend to keep writing and posting – just maybe a little less frequently. We shall see!
We’ve switched back to hot coffee in the mornings and are taking the extra time to brew in our Chemex. I only wish I could be sipping it out of the most beautiful mug in existence that I came across in Starbucks the other day. That mug is me if one ever was – watercolor blues/greens with gold in the shape of mountains? yes. please. I couldn’t find a link to buy online but maybe there will be one soon!
Olya of paintpaperstudio painted the cutest little fall fox and generously offered it as a free printable. I think I want to frame it to add to my small collection of fall decorations.
You can be assured it doesn’t take much because I’m crazy over those zippered pouches. Organizing is my jam and those pretties are just perfect for anything. I’m think our important documents could use a new home…
As far as apparel + accessories go this month, that KALE shirt just tickles me and I’m smitten over the bar necklace. Mary Moody’s Etsy shop is full of such beautiful + meaningful jewelry. I LOVE the idea of getting a coordinate bar necklace of our wedding ceremony location or roman numerals of our wedding date. Or maybe both and then layering ALL the necklaces!
Last, the Interval Timer app is rockin’ my world. Matthew and I are NOT runners, but we started 5K interval training. This app is perfect for creating workouts. You can set durations for a warm up, high interval, low interval, and cool down with as many sets as needed. The interface is especially beautiful on the iPhone – but the tones&vibrate eliminate the need to check during a run!
Aaaaaaaaand we’re back! Matthew & I went to the beach for the weekend and had a blast spending time together, taking walks with Onyx, eating at a new restaurant, and watching Food Network. After such crazy and intense weeks it was wonderful to get away for a few days.
While we were there, we enjoyed being done with our Whole30 [maybe a little too much ha] and got ice cream. And oh my gosh you guys, The Tonight Dough is my soulmate ice cream. I don’t even usually get excited about ice cream, but this stuff is incredible [if you’re into peanut butter].
Writing about my favorite season got me pumped up for Christmas and that Lindsay Letters print is gorgeous [along with all her other work]. I am also giddy over Ali Edwards’s December Daily kit and can’t wait for December!
I started using Google Photos to back up my iPhone since my cloud storage is full and I can’t seem to sync it properly anyway. I haven’t summoned the courage to delete everything off my phone yet, but soon…
The lovely house numbers DIY looks super easy but I doubt I’d end up with numbers that gorgeous. And the cute tea tin is calling my name [and the overwhelming tea smell in the cabinet is telling me to listen].
